Questions
How long until my site is live?
Express: a first version to review in 2 to 3 business days, then launch, usually within 1 to 2 weeks. Growth: usually 3 to 4 weeks, since Google can take a few days to verify your Business Profile. The clock starts once we have all your copy and photos, and the final date also depends on how quickly you get back to us.
What do I need to get started?
Your logo if you have one, photos of your work (phone photos are perfect), your list of services and service areas, your hours and your RBQ licence number, if you have one. No copy? We can write it with you, as an add-on.
How does payment work?
50% up front to book your spot, and the rest just before launch. No surprises: anything outside your plan is estimated and approved by you before we start.
Is the site mine?
Yes. The domain, your Google accounts and the hosting are in your name from day one, and the site files are yours once the final payment is in. No platform locks you in.
Can I edit my site myself?
Yes. You get simple access to change your text, photos and hours, with a short video showing you how. For design or structure changes, we take care of it at $95 an hour, on an estimate you approve first.
Do I pay every month?
No. There’s no agency subscription. You only pay for your domain (usually around $15 to $30 a year) and any third-party tools, where applicable, directly to the providers.
Can you guarantee first place on Google?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. We build a fast, well-structured site designed for local searches, which gives you the best odds. A new site often takes a few weeks, or even a few months, to rank well. Your Google Business Profile, your reviews and your competition matter too.
Do you build web apps?
Yes, by request. Every project is different, so we can’t price it up front: we review your needs first, then show you a mock-up and a ballpark cost. You decide from there, with no commitment.
What if I want to leave one day?
You keep everything. Your accounts are already in your name, and we hand over your site files for free. No exit fees.
Will my site follow Quebec’s Bill 96 and Law 25?
We build your site French-first, with an English version, and a banner that asks for cookie consent. We’ll guide you, but final compliance is your responsibility, so check with a lawyer if in doubt.
Do you work with businesses outside Quebec?
Yes. We’ve worked with businesses all over the world, and everything runs smoothly remotely.
